WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS LOOK LIKE?

What does Christmas look like? Is it red or is it green? Is it mixed with many colors that my eyes have never seen?

What does Christmas smell like? Is it pine or candy cane? Does it come in many flavors? That would drive a child insane?

Can you have a touch of Christmas? Can you feel the snowy cold? Or is it warm and gentle like a open fire of old?

What does Christmas look like? Is it something that you wear? Is it silk or basic cotton? Do you handle it with care?

What does Christmas look like? Is it gifts beneath the tree? Is it jingle bells and sweet noels that chime so gleefully?

It's the question that I ponder and I'm sure each child must wonder.

Finally the answer came one cold and snowy day, the vision of old Christmas a display in great array.

For all I really had to do was read and take a look into this ancient holy book. Christmas was the day the sweet child Christ was born... and why we celebrate this bright December morn.
